Domain Protection

Hi, i have domain protection from godaddy, i dont need to use 15$ on domain protection when buying a host in here, right? :D

  • Hi @mikzinthecutt, if your domain is through GoDaddy and you won’t be transferring it (only pointing it here), then you can just map it. That’s included in the price of any plan:
    http://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/

If you will be transferring the domain here, you would lose the domain protection GoDaddy offered, but we include it automatically if your domain is with us. Does that help?

Ah okay, so i wont lose the protection if i map it? :D

2nd question, is it possible to map the domain to 2 different spots,
because i have a VPS for my server, and i would like to connect with my domain, and i would my website name to be that too, is it possible to map both? :D

    No. you won’t lose it.

That’s not possible. A domain can only be mapped to a single site. This is how domain names work on the internet.
