Domain purchase from GoDaddy

  Hello,

  I have purchased a domain from GoDaddy, but I am unsure how to link it to WordPress. Can anybody give me some pointers? If I transfer the domain over, how would I renew the domain ownership after expiration?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  I have purchased a domain from GoDaddy, but I am unsure how to link it to WordPress.

  If you would like to use the domain here on WordPress.com all you need to do is “map” your existing domain to your site. You will need an upgraded WordPress.com plan on your site in order to map a domain.

  There is more information about mapping a domain you already own, on this page:

  Once you have purchased the upgrade you can then ask your domain provider to update your DNS settings.
