Domain Purchase, Mapping, Server can’t be found
-
I just bought a domain through WordPress for my new blog, and it says I have mapped it correctly to my blog, but when I try to view the blog, it says ‘the server can’t be found’. Do I need to take any other steps to get my blog up? I used wordpress.com so I don’t think I need a server, do I? Thanks for your help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
http://2anonasians.com/ appears to be working properly.
It can take domain changes up to 72 hours (though usually much less) to propagate to your ISP. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your ISP refreshes their DNS cache.
Please let us know if you have any more questions!

It can take 24 to 72 hours for a DNS change to make it through all the internet nameservers although it is typically 24 hours or less. There is no way to speed this up, it just takes some time. New domains typically are quicker to propagate than changes to an existing domain.
Give it a few hours and it should start showing up for you.

Looks like the good old domain name panic at the 30 minute mark – Maybe WordPress.com should add a warning with the mapping that the change takes longer than 15 or 20 minutes. This is at least the 6th person in the last few days with the same panic.
