Good morning, I purchased the domain womenwhohappentobemoms.com from Go Daddy. This is because I tried to do it through wordpress but now I am forced to use Premium Package fro $99. I do NOT want the premium package, but to able to use the domain womenwhowanttobemoms.com without having to pay $99. I also host the site livingaloudallowed.com where I am able to only pay around $20ish. (See below email) Why can’t I get this same deal fo rmy womenwhowanttobemoms.com site??

I am having the same issue. I click “renew,” but then it takes me to the “plans” page. I already have ‘free’ selected, but it’s not letting me use that as a valid option anymore. I’m being forced to upgrade if I want to keep my domain.

Hi @womenwhohappentobemoms, we no longer offer domains as an a la carte upgrade for free sites. They are now included in plans. This helps us cover the cost of keeping free sites free.

@jnelius in your case, you’re renewing an existing upgrade. I can see one domain on your account and it is properly renewed.
If you’re having trouble with a domain not listed here:
https://wordpress.com/domains… you’ll want to log out, then log in as the user who owns that domain. You should then be able to renew it. Cheers!
