Domain purchased at Go Daddy

  I purchased my domain at Go Daddy. When I attempt to upgrade my wordpress site and map the purchased domain I get the following error message at checkout -{‘error’:’domain_error’,’message’:’This domain already exists and cannot be registered.’}

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  You have to map the domain not register it. Go to the Domains page and follow this guide:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
