domain purchased but cannot seem to use

hi i have purchased the domain themodelteacher.com
then bought hosting
then added paid site
all through godaddy.comi dont understand why i cant seem to use my own domain? and why i am receiving this email to upgrade my plan.Im in a paif plan not free plan? pls.check my account and help me😵😥😢

Your domain is bought from GoDaddy, and if you want to use that domain here at WordPress.com then you have two options, either map that domain here or transfer your domain to WordPress.com
Transfer –
https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/Domain Mapping –
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/To use any of above both options you need to have upgraded plan of WordPress.com(Personal or Premium or Business Plan)

i though its automatically connected to wordpress because godaddy lead me to it.I mean my receipt says i bought BASIC MANAGED WORDPRESS SITE ,so i dont get why i need to transfer or map? pls bear with me.

do you mean that my purchase is with wordpress.org?
i just followed the steps provided or options in godaddy and lead me to wordpress.com, so im sorry but its still not clear to me what to do.. i just want to use the domain i purchased but i cant find the options shown in instructions ive searched for..
also, i cannot register at .org forum bec.i dont have a website under .org.
