Domain purchased but URL still showing as .wordpress.com

  Hi, any advice would be much appreciated with this issue.

  We own the domain to our site (.co.uk) but the site still directs itself to .wordpress.com

  The site works fine but I would rather the url just been displayed as our paid (.co.uk) domain as it looks more professional.

  Any advice most welcome!

  Domain forwardingt does not change the URL – you need to domain map your name AND undo the forwarding you are doing now

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

  You will also need to add a zone record.

  Staff will need to add a zone record for porttalbottown.co.uk – I will flag this for them to help.

  You then follow the instructions in the link above to map the domain to your blog – cost $ 13.– / year USD –

  After the zone record is added you change the name servers at your registrar then come back here and map the domain
