Domain purchased with Bluehost

Hello,
I purchased a domain through Bluehost – I want to use this domain for wordpress sites in order creating testing sites for clients. Can I use subdomains to do this? How do I get rid of the wordpress.com at the end of the domain when I link it? Do I have to purchase the Premium package on wordpress? Will this allow me to use as many domains as I want?

To set up WordPress.com sites on subdomains of your Bluehost domain, you’ll need a domain mapping upgrade for each subdomain. An upgrade plan for a WordPress.com site includes one free domain mapping, and then you can add as many additional mappings as you want at $13 per mapping per year.
If you want to map multiple WordPress.com sites to subdomains on your domain, you’ll need an upgrade plan for each WordPress.com site for the first domain.
