  When I purchase a domain, from a wordpress.com to just a .com, would I need to purchase a site redirect?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  So I can change on the dashboard to make people who enter the website sgdualstudies.wordpress.com be directed to sgdualstudies.com for free if I purchase a domain from wordpress?

  Is this the “domain mapping” part of the payment? Is domain mapping basically site redirect, but only for within wordpress?
