Domain purchasing issues

  Hello,

  I have upgraded my WordPress site with a new domain name so that it’s web address will be http://www.cherneye.me instead of the ordinary http://www.cherneye.wordpress.com. I payed the $33 CAD for the domain registration and privacy protection and the new site’s address was instantly updated. This morning, I woke up to find that my web address has been reverted back to http://www.cherneye.wordpress.com and I cannot access my site through the ‘.me’ domain. The money that I paid has not been refunded and I seem to no longer have the ‘.me’ domain anymore.

  Anyone know what’s going on here?

  Hi,
  I entered cherneye.me into https://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/ and it said:

  “No Domain Mapping Found
  There is no domain mapping upgrade for cherneye.me. If you would like to use this domain you will first need to set up domain mapping.

  There is information on how to set up domain mapping in our support documentation.”

  If that does not help you get the site working properly again, you can add modlook to the tags (in the right column of this page) and it will bring it to the attention of WordPress.com staff.
