  I’m need to add a blog to a currently existing site, and am thinking about using WordPress. I read about transferring a domain name to a WordPress account, but is there a way that I can keep the site where it is and just use the domain name for the added blog (i.e., if my site is “www.example.com” the address of the blog would be “www.example.com/blog”)? Thanks.

  You cannot make http://www.example.com/blog with wordpress.com, but you can make blog.example.com
