Domain recovery.

I would like to recover my Domain. From what I understand it’s in ‘redemption state’ as of now.
Due to payment issues, I was not able to renew my site on time. I am no longer seeing an option to renew it.
When I do try to renew the domain, I’m given the option to renew a ‘.wordpress.com’ site instead of just ‘.com’The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What is the domain in question?
Are you speaking of sugarmarchmedia.com?
That domain expired on 7 June and has already been removed from our system. It is currently in redemption with our registrar.
It is still possible for me to recover the domain at this point, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption, on top of the regular renewal fee. Let me know if you agree to that fee and I can get the recovery process started.
Also note we have a very limited time left to get this domain back – within a few days it will reach the end of the redemption period, at which point we won’t be able to recover it any longer. Once that happens the domain will be completely deleted at the registry, and it might be released again for anyone to register it as a new domain.
You do have the option to wait, and then try to register it as a new domain next week, but also note there’s a risk that someone else might buy the domain the moment it becomes available, in which case you won’t be able to get it back again at all.
