  I deleted my domain last night and was wondering if I could recover it please.

  Yes, I see your plan was refunded, but not the domain, so we can recover it for you.

  However, we’ll need a WordPress.com site to attach the domain to.

  Would you like us to recover the deleted site as well, or do you want to register a new one?

  Yes, the domain controls exist as part of site management, so the domain has to be assigned to a site.

  I have recovered both the site and the domain. You can manage the domain following the guides at https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/custom-dns/

  Thank you very much for your help! I’ve changed the DNS but it still points to wordpress for some reason.

  The DNS changes take time to propagate. If I open the domain now it displays yiur self-hosted site. If you do not see that, try clearing your browser’s cache. You can find here more information on how to clear the cache depending on your browser:
