Domain recycling

  I wanted to see the availability of a domain (padipela.wordpress.com) and while doing that I accidentally created it. Then I immediately deleted it. Now my friend wants to use that domain, but he can’t. Is there any possibility that same domain name can be made available? If so, can you please help me do that?
