Domain Redemption

I purchased my domain through you, but it looks like it was managed by a third party and is now expired. How do I go about getting my domain back?

When a domain expires, it then goes through a process that can take several months to complete described at https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/.
If you are in the grace period you will not have to agree to pay a redemption fee set by the domain name registrar that wordpress.COM staff cannot waive.
Otherwise, if you want Staff to try to recover the domain for you then you will have to agree to pay the redemption fee.
If you’re logged into the account that is associated with your expired domain, they will look up its status and get in touch with details.
If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into the associated account, and provide the domain URL here.

Hi there,
Your domain seaducedseaglass.com on July 1, 2017.
Domain expiration is a lengthy and complicated process that takes about 80 days. During this time, your domain may be put up for auction or sold on back-order.
You can learn more about domain expiration here:
The good news is that we may still be able to recover your domain if it has not yet been deleted or purchased by someone else.
A late renewal fee of $80 will be added to the regular price of renewal. This fee is charged by the domain registry and is not one that we can waive.
The total price will be $106, which is $26 for the regular renewal, plus the $80 late renewal fee.
Please let me know how you want us to proceed.

Hi salehalbraik –
Yes, we can try to have your domain recovered. First, I need to verify that you agree to the $80 redemption fee assessed by our domain partner. This fee is in addition to the $26 annual registration payment to us.

Hi lizkarkoski
I’ve been contacted by a staff member already and I’ve made the payment already. Waiting for her to get back to me to see if it was successful.
