Someone from Community Forums did speak to me last week saying they’d refer me to customer support but I havent’ heard back from WordPress yet!

Hi there, tedxindianauniversity.com and tedxindianauniversity.org are hosted here. They are both in redemption. It will cost $80 each to get them out of redemption. Can you confirm that you will pay the total of $160 to get those back?

Are you wanting to use these mapped to sites here on WordPress.com? If so, there would be an additional $18 each for the domain mapping ($98) or an additional $26 each ($106) if you want mapping and Private registration.

tedxindianauniversity.net is registered with Godaddy and expires 2019-06-30. Any changes to that domain will have to be handled through Godaddy.

I do see that emails have been sent to you on this issue on Wednesday. Can you check your email system and make sure they were not caught in the spam filter? The email was sent to the email address on the account you are logged in with. If you can find that email and then continue on this issue through email, that would be best. If you still cannot find the emails, please let me know.

Yes please! You were right, the e-mails went to our spam!

I’d like .com and .org redeemed for the 160 total, as soon as possible. My card information should be on my account now.

Can you explain what you mean by mapped to WordPress and private registration?

    Thanks!!

  • Hi, I can see we’ve sent an invoice which included those and your other two domains as well. Can you look for that? Also, we should clarify that the $80 covers the redemption fee. You will still need to pay for the regular renewal as well. All of that is in the invoice we’ve sent.

If you’ll take care of that and respond directly to that email, we’ll contact the registrar and work on getting your domains back as soon as possible.
