Domain redirection

  Hi, i want to redirect my wordpress.com domain to my new address, and i want to pay the one off fee £11 but every time i deselect the premium from my basket (i current want to use the free plan not the premium) i lose the window to pay, so my question is do i need to have premium to redirect my domain name.

  The top level domain here is wordpress.com. All sites hosted here are on .wordpress.com sub domains like http://thomascooketelescopes.wordpress.com/ and they cannot be redirected anywhere. They are all hosted on this multi user blogging platform.

  If you want your content to stay where it is and you want to domain map from http://thomascooketelescopes.wordpress.com/ to a domain URL that you already own that requires an upgrade so please read on.

  WordPress.com does not accept domain transfers but mapping an existing domain is possible. http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/ The domain or mapping of any existing domain URL is included in the pricing for a personal upgrade, a premium and a business upgrade. The WordPress.COM upgrade for mapping a domain must be renewed annually.
