  I canceled my domain on WordPress in under 48 hours, why would I not receive a refund?

  I’ve processed the $26 refund for the domain. It can take up to ten business days to reach your account. Let me know if there’s anything else I can assist with.

  Side question, when (if possible) would I be able to purchase and use that domain name elsewhere (ie Google Domains)?

  Good Morning –

  The domain should be available in about 5 days from cancellation. My suggestion is to try and register it each day to prevent someone else from getting to it first. If that happens you’ll be out of luck and there’s nothing we can do to help get it back as it will have a new owner.
