Domain "registered" after expiry

  Hi, I can’t tell if my domain has been bought by another person or company after I let it expire. I intend to move it to another provider of hosting for my website, but never got round to renewing it. I registered it through WordPress in March 2015, but it’s showing on who.is as being registered with wild west domains LLC and the status says:
  redemptionPeriod https://icann.org/epp#redemptionPeriod

  Can anyone shed light on this? I can’t seem to renew it through my wordpress acccount either. It redirects me to the homepage.

  Wild West Domains is our registrar partner. The redemption period is a time when you can still renew an expired domain by paying a late fee. You can read more about it here:
