domain registrant migration

  My site’s domain name is registered with wordpress.com but it is hosted elsewhere. I’m trying to migrate the registration of the domain name to another registrant.

  I got an auth code from my wordpress.com control panel and started the migration. The migration seems to have partly gone through but the new registrant says they have sent a verification email to the registered domain owner and it can not complete until the email is verified.

  I have received no such email to the email address I use to manage my wordpress.com account and domain.

  Hey there,

  the new registrant says they have sent a verification email to the registered domain owner and it can not complete until the email is verified.

  This will go to the email address you have listed on the contact information for the domain. In most cases that will be your WordPress.com account address, unless you changed it.

  That said — it looks like perhaps you found it? I noticed the domain has successfully transferred out.
