Domain registration

  I am trying to register a domain, but I am having some issues. My wife has a wordpress account and after she signed up she was able to register a domain name for a total of 26.00 (domain registration, domain mapping and private registration fees). I do not want to sign up for a plan, solely a domain. How do I go about doing this ?

  Domains are no longer available for purchase individually. They are included with WordPress.com Premium. This change has been made as we work to offer the best combination of value and performance for users while still offering a completely free product for those who do not wish to purchase any upgrades.

  A great way to go if you are not interested in WordPress.com Premium is to look into setting up a self-hosted WordPress.org site through a hosting provider such as Bluehost, GoDaddy, or Pressable.
