I registered my domain name with SiteGround prior to signing up with WordPress. How do I get rid of WordPress in my domain name if it’s already registered with SiteGround??

If you have registered thecurlypassionate.com with SiteGround, then you can manage this website with them as they provide managed WordPress hosting. This is a self-hosted site whose software is available for free at WordPress.org and it’s is not related to WordPress.com
thecurlypassionate.wordpress.com is a free site which is registered with WordPress.com and it has nothing to do with your site registered with SiteGround. You can use both the sites simultaneously. If you don’t intend to use this free site, then you can set it as private and use this for testing purpose.
