  If I have the domain registered with some other provider, will I get a discount on the plan for hosting the website?

  Hi there,

  We do not offer a discount for “mapping” a domain from another provider to your WordPress.com site. However, if you upgrade to one of the plans, and then opt to transfer your domain to us instead of mapping it, that transfer is free and also includes a free year of registration once the transfer is complete.
