  We currently have a domain we are working to switch over to WP. It is expiring in April and I want to find out the pricing to switch it over, or is it included in the ‘Free year’ and how much is it to renew the domain?

  If you upgrade to a yearly WordPress.com plan, you can use the free domain credit (that’s applicable for the first year only) to transfer your domain to WordPress.com. Can you tell me what the name of the domain is? We can confirm the renewal price for the domain.

  757districtre.com is our current domain. We are a Real Estate Brokerage and want a user friendly experience while searching for properties and navigating what we offer to the community. We have an IDX feed that will be integrated once the site is up and running.

  It sounds like you’ll need the Business Plan, which gives you access to third-party plugins, themes, and the ability to use your own custom code, which may be needed for that IDX feed integration. I did a quick Google search and found a specific IDX plugin that might be of interest as well.

  Also, the benefit of the Business plan is that you can get your new site set up here before switching your domain over! When you sign up for a new site, we give you a free subdomain (*.wpstaging.com) that you can use to start building your new site. We also take care of any security and backups for your site, so you can concentrate on your business.
