    Hi, I paid for Domain Registration for my website, but the ‘wordpress.com’ still exists in the domain name?
    Why hasn’t it gone away now that I’ve paid for the website name?

    Did you just buy a custom domain address? You need a paid plan to make a custom domain the default address of a site here. With an annual paid plan you could have received a custom domain free for the first year.
