  I was sent from WordPress to Go-daddy .. registered and paid for domain and don’t understand how to now change my domain name in WordPress Help !!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Who sent you to GoDaddy? They’re awful!

  You need to purchase the Domain Mapping upgrade in order to apply a custom domain to a WordPress.com blog. It’s on your Upgrades page.

  FYI raincoaster. just the other day I was sent to Go Daddy as well.

  IIRC, it was a “manual mapping” link. Got me all confused. So I came back here and followed automatic mapping, paid WordPress and it works as advertised.

  Thanks for the info. That shouldn’t happen. GoDaddy probably paid for that somehow. I wouldn’t use them.
