Domain registration

    To whom it may concern,
    before I signed up for wordpress, I signed up for godaddy.com and bought a domain. I didn’t like it there so an hour later I cancelled it. I then signed up for wordpress.com and tried to purchase the same domain but godaddy said they hadn’t released it yet. It’s been more than 2 days and I really that domain due to time constraints. WordPress.com also said that it’s registered.

    What could be my options to get the domain as soon as possible?

    See if Godaddy will register the name for you (undo the cancel) so you can then map it to a blog here

    It can take a while for any Registrar to release a name back into the wild and even then someone else can buy it ahead of you or at an auction if the registrar decides to hold the domain name for an auction
