  I am from Sri Lanka and want to register for a domain. But when I tried to purchase it using credit card my country which is Sri Lanka is not listed in the country list. Therefore, I’m unable to proceed with the credit card payment. Please give me a solution for this.

  Unfortunately WordPress’s credit company has decided to block payments from Sri Lanka.

  WordPress accepts payments through Paypal, Bitcoin (http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2012/11/15/pay-another-way-bitcoin/ however domains by themselves cannot be bought, you would have to buy the $99 Pro bundle) and echecks.

  I’d suggest using Paypal, and you should be able to connect your credit card or bank account to your Paypal account, and pay with it that way. Hopefully that helps with your problem.

  In addition you could go through ebay and buy a prepaid Visa card from America, and then use that to pay.

  WordPress.com uses PayPal as the payment processor, and as such, can only accept payment from countries they support: https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/

  For whatever reason, they have chosen to block payment from your country, so you will not be able to purchase an upgrade here unless you have a source of payment outside of it.
  
  In addition to major credit cards Mastercard, VISA, American Express, Discover, and PayPal https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/ WordPress.com can accept echecks and some debit cards.

  The debit card must have a VISA or Mastercard symbol on it, and should work just like a credit card when selecting the VISA or Mastercard option on the payment form, even though it’s a debit card.
