domain registration and subscription – what’s the difference?

    I recently paid for .blog Domain Registration now WordPress.com wants an – annual subscription. What is the difference?

    Any domain registration has to be renewed annually. That’s not unique to us here at WordPress.com. It’s how the domain registration works across any registrar on the internet.

    Please tell me the domain or URL of the site that you registered with us. I don’t see anything on the account you’ve used here. That makes me think that you’ve registered that .blog under a different account – so now being signed in to a different account you’re getting prompted again.
