Domain registration, Can you register more than 1?

  I would like to register two domain names.
  1) To serve as the company name and help with SEO.
  2) To serve as a pointer to the company name, but have it shorter for advertising and marketing efforts.

  Is this possible? How do I go about doing this? Thanks.

  You can create as many free blogs as you wish and purchase domain names and domain mapping for them. The unique indentier for each username account is the email address used to regsiter the username account. If you do not wish to have both blogs linked to the same username accounts you can create another user name account using a different email account.

  Okay, I read you can register more than one domain per blog. Once I register the company name as a domain, will it be the same exact process to register another domain for the same blog?

  I don’t want to have more than one blog. One blog, two domain names.

  Two domains to register for at least 5 years.

  is there a way to speak to a live person? If so, where is the contact number. I have searched everywhere on here. Thanks.

  I don’t know if WordPress.COM allows registration for more than one year.

  You can register a name with anther registrar for several years if you want. Then you just point the name-servers to WordPress.COM then do the Domain Mapping. Not too hard to do.
