Domain Registration Clarification

    Hi I was just wondering about registering a domain with WordPress. I’m sure it’s in the FAQ’s but just wanted to make sure. If I register a domain through wordpress who legally owns it, whose information is displayed if somebody searches the registration and could it be transferred to be hosted away from worpress in the future.

    It’s your information. However you can register with Private Registration for a small fee and then your personal information is hidden and only the registrar’s information is displayed (in this case WordPress.com).

    Yes, you can move any domains you own between registrars.
