Domain registration details

  I have recently inherited our volleyball team’s website. We wish to point the domain to a different server for our website. We are currently using the free version of WordPress. My understanding is that I cannot edit the servers for our domain with the free version. Is that correct?

  It also appears that our domain: macvolleyball.com is registered with GoDaddy. Would that be correct? Did you folks register it with them?

  I have read many of the articles you have but as a very non-technical person I am not really finding the answers I need.

  The macvolleyball.com domain appears to have expired. Contact GoDaddy for assistance. If you are able to get the domain back, you can point it to a different server.

  If you want to redirect macvolleyball.wordpress.com to the new server (once that’s set up), you can buy a site redirect. That will send any visitors from the old site to the new one: https://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/
