Why do I get this error when I map a domain I already own?
Domain registration details not found
I just purchased a domain from Namecheap yesterday.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What is the domain name you have registered?
If you are asking about peregrinism.com – it does not seem to have been registered – you should go back and check with Name Cheap about the registration

pymendoza.com is showing registered – the only two thing I can think of is that you might have gotten a bit ahead of the updating of the internet when you tried to map the domain
Maybe give it a bit more time and try again
Since this is already flagged for the staff – please be patient while waiting for the staff to help – since you seem to have the domain registered it won’t get lost

As auxclass mentioned, it’s possible the information about your newly registered domain hadn’t made it to our end when you tried mapping that domain earlier. I just checked and I’m not getting that error at this point.
You can try mapping that domain again with the steps in our guide to Use a Domain You Already Own (Domain Mapping). If you continue to have trouble with it, please let me know!

I’m still getting the error. I will just try again tomorrow and hope my domain already propagated wherever it needs to propagate.

Are you getting that error on the Domain Mapping page at https://wordpress.com/domains/add/mapping or somewhere else?
