Domain registration failed, but appears under My Domains

Two days ago, on 2/23/2015, I attempted to purchase the domain “runrunrebecca.com” for my site “runrunrebecca.wordpress.com”. Upon confirming the purchase, I received an error message indicating that I refresh the page. I did so, only to be met by another message saying that “runrunrebecca.com” was already registered to me.
“runrunrebecca.com” currently appears in My Domains, however when I try to go to this URL it does not exist, and is also currently available for purchase on other domain purchasing sites. However my credit card has already been charged the $18! I attempted to “cancel and refund” this domain, in the hopes that I could try the transaction again, but I received a message saying “this domain does not belong to you.”
The mapping was successful, because “runrunrebecca.wordpress.com” was mapping to “runrunrebecca.com” (despite the fact that there was no existing domain there). However I have obviously been forced to change my primary domain back to the WordPress address for the time being.
It has been 2 days since the original error report, and 24 hours since I sent an email. I have still not heard a word. I need WordPress support staff to correctly register the domain ASAP, and make sure that the domain mapping has a matching date.

The domain was not successfully registered and I’ve refunded the associated charge. Please keep in mind that it takes 1-2 weeks for the transaction to show up on your financial statement.
Can you please try to register this domain, once again?
