    I’d like to have my domain that I purchased from you (Registered: 2012-06-06) transferred to another registrar. I payed with bitcoin because you accepted it. Now you want to charge me $48/year to host a free/old/defunct WordPress site to keep my domain that hasn’t even expired yet, apparently.

    I’d like some sort of explanation on whatever the hell you are doing and coming up with arbitrary expiration dates such as November 28th of this year and/or transfer my domain to another registrar of my choosing. If you do not comply I will escalate to the registrar and anyone else who knows how to use whois.

    Wordpress appears to be the new ‘GoDaddy’ scamming it’s users for-profit on domain registration. Should I expect to see it up for auction soon?

    Nevermind I see the many attempts to notify me to renew the domain in my spam email. I don’t care anything about WordPress or using your service or paying you a cent. I just want the domain on a registrar that isn’t complete garbage. I am SOL for missing your emails.

    jcph.am was registered through ABCDomain and the domain mapping upgrade connecting it to jcpham.wordpress.com recently expired a few days ago, which is why there is currently no option to renew.

    You, WordPress are not being genuine or truthful with me, the owner of the domain. I purchased this domain through you, WordPress six years ago.

    I’ve double checked this and your account shows domain mapping for jcph.am was purchased on 28th November 2012 and has been renewed every year since — the domain itself wasn’t registered through WordPress.com though. There is confirmation of this in your Billing History:

    The privacy information you mentioned shows the name servers are pointing to WordPress.com but I can see the domain was registered through ABCDomain.

    I’d like to have my domain that I purchased from you (Registered: 2012-06-06) transferred to another registrar.

    jcph.am can be pointed to another host by logging in to your ABCDomain account and changing the DNS (the name servers are currently pointing to WordPress.com).

    Just to confirm — it sounds like you don’t want to continue using domain mapping with us. Is that correct?
