domain registration privacy
-
Hi, I would like to claim a domainname for $18, and I would like to use the privacy possibility for $8 extra; no problem. Only thing is, I don’t want to receive any post at home, because I am a businessman on the go and am stationed in different countries at different times. I want all to be done by email, and email only. Is that possible?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You will not have to worry about receiving mail from WordPress.com. Although your address is on file, you should not receive mail of any sort. We will e-mail periodically in regards to your account, but that is about it.
Hope this helps.
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Hello! I hope to be in the topic…but I have a question..do anyone know if the ” privacy setting” payed 8 euro” is the reason why several posts doesn’t show the correct image and doesn’t allowe to share it on facebook? thank you to anyone who can help me. Carolina

Hi Karol, the privacy option only means that the registrationdetails of the owner of your domainname in a Dynamic Name Server cannot be seen by the general public. In a DNS you can always look up who is owner of the domain name. With a privacy contract, it shows up with WordPress company, not you. It has nothing to do with your website software. Your domainname is yours, no matter what software or hosting company you are using. Those are separate things. If you have problems with posts, this is because of a mistake somewhere in your software settings, not with the domainname.
