Domain registration problem

  Hello!

  Last night I created my new blog, along with a domain registration and a domain mapping.
  I payed through PayPal and on my account the transaction is marked as “completed”.

  Nevertheless, the url “www.devsprouts.com” is still not available and I cannot see it in my WordPress console.

  Can you please help me?

  Hello! Am I right in understanding that your PayPal account was charged for the domain registration? I checked, but it seems that http://devsprouts.com is still available for purchase.

  Hi @feherb, to do that, you can purchase the upgrade to Map your domain name to your WordPress.com blog. You can read about it here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  We were having some issues with domain registration the past few days. Everything should be resolved now, but the domain devsprouts.com was not registered. You can register that now here:

  I do have a record on my PayPal account saying that I was charged 15€ more or less 24 hrs ago.

  Hi, this isn’t really a problem, but I don’t know where to post this. Do you guys have a number to call? I want to register for premium plans, and I wanted to know if that package comes with email accounts please?

  @robdir – I do see a failed transaction. Paypal should clear that transaction within a week, but if it doesn’t clear let me know!

  Hi, @followwinnysyogaadventures! What domain name would you like to use, instead? Is it registered with WordPress, or did you use something else? Or maybe it’s not registered yet?

  If the domain name you would like to use already exists via another registrar, you can map your domain to work with your WordPress blog by following the steps outlined here: http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/

  If you haven’t registered the domain anywhere and would like to do so with WordPress.com, you can follow the steps here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/register-domain/

  If you mean that you made a mistake in creating your domain name like what happened here: here, the solution was determined to be:

  You cannot change a URL once it is created, but you can make another blog on your existing account and then transfer the stuff over to the new blog. Type “export” into the support page search box for more information on moving your stuff over to the new blog.
