Domain registration questions

I’m planning to redirect to a theconservativejournal.net (from theconservativejournal.wordpress.com) today, but I had a few questions that I couldn’t find the answers to. First off, I know the links I’ve accumulated on other sites will remain intact, but what about my Technorati page, blog ranking sites, and blog directories? Will I have to go in and edit my web address on each site, or will, for example, a blog ranking site be able to keep pulling my statistics without changing the web address? Thanks for any help on the subject!

You will start again from nothing with Technorati. Your old URL doesn’t go to zero, but it will gradually lose status as your links start to go to the new URL. And you’ll have to change the URL on blog directories and other blog ranking sites as well. For most a new URL = an entirely new blog.

Alright, thanks for your help! Oh and one more thing: On the blog ranking sites will a visit to the site.wordpress.com address count as a view for the site.net address?
