domain registration – site url

  Hi,

  I would like to know if I register a custom domain for my blog through wordpress it will supress the wordpress word from my site url. or i will only rediretc the domain i buy to my example.wordpress.com site?

  Sure, as long as you set your purchased domain as primary (via Store -> Domains in your Dashboard), you’ll see your domain instead of your WordPress.com URL.
