  Hi,

  I tried to register a blog with an independent domain name (thedelsurblog.com), filled in the credit card info and confirmed the payement. The page loaded with an error but then my account showed that I now had a blog, except the name is not what I registered/paid for. The name shows thedelsurblog.wordpress.com. How can I get this fixed?

  Hi Yana,

  You successfully created your blog with the custom domain thedelsurblog.com here: http://thedelsurblog.com/

  When you look at your blog’s dashboard, you’ll see the address thedelsurblog.wordpress.com. That’s your free WordPress.com address, and we use it behind the scenes to keep track of your blog’s content. It’s also there in case you decide you’d rather use that free address instead of your custom domain. However, the free address is only visible to you — visitors to your blog will only see the custom domain thedelsurblog.com.
