Domain Registry of America Scam

These guys keep sending me postal notices that try and mislead you into thinking you need to register your domain with them. It’s presented as an invoice but just throw it out.

They’ve been around for years. Just Google the title of this thread to find out more.
They’re even operating in Canada. I once got a letter from “Domain Registry of Canada”. I immediately noticed that it was not my domain name registrar and that the prices were triple what my registrar charged me. I did exactly the same thing as you: throw it out.

Yeah, that’s how I found out, I Googled their name only and the very first result came up about it being a scam…that’s when you know it’s true.
