Domain remap causes remote-login redirect issue

  Essentially the same issue as here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=13988 except that thread is closed, and it was not resolved for me by de-restricting cookie access (I have no exceptions to allowing cookies on any site).

  Essentially, accessing my WP blog non-admin pages after re-pointing domain over from wordpress.com hosting to a new host causes a “remote-login.php” series of continuous redirects and no page ever loads. Only seems to happen in Firefox for me. I resolved it by finding and deleting all old wordpress.com cookies.

  This may have occurred because the DNS mapping was changed before the old WP blog domain setting was deactivated.
