Domain Remewal

    I messed up and missed my domain renewal for techposts.net. Upon logging in I do have the option to renew, but there is an $80 late fee. Could you please waive that fee? That late fee amount is very extreme and I will not end up renewing if I have to pay it. If the late fee was $10 I would be happy to pay it because of my mistake, but not eighty.

    I’m afraid not. The fee comes from our domain parter so we don’t have the power to waive it.

    If you decide not to renew, I can cancel the domain for you all together. That will keep the sad robot from showing up when people visit your site.

    If you go this way, you might also make a note to check back in 80-90 days. That’s the usual amount of time it takes a domain to come back into circulation. If no one else buys it in the meantime at that point you’ll be able to repurchase the domain for the regular price.
