Domain renaming

  renaming a registered domain. I want to rename a domain that I have paid for. Can I do that and then transfer that new name to a different blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  When you register a custom domain, you’re buying that exact name. You are welcome to transfer it from one site to another, but there isn’t a way to rename the custom domain you own.

  If it’s within 48 hours of when you bought the domain, you can cancel your domain for a full refund and then buy the domain name you want. We have more about that here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/all-about-domains/#i-misspelled-my-domain-can-i-edit-it

  Otherwise, you can register the new domain name you want by following this guide: Register a New Domain

  Thanks for the helpful reply. That makes sense.

  I have another question . . . I see that in one of my blogs (Justice) that I have a 1 megabyte uploads but in my other blog it’s only 167 Kb’s. I can’t upload any pictures. How can I change what blog gets the higher capacity upload?

  Every blog comes with 3 GB upload space. Looks like you have used 3.0 GB of your 3.0 GB upload limit (100%). Since you are close to your limit, you might want to consider purchasing a Space Upgrade.

  Please don’t remove existing images from the media library because then they will also be removed from the post itself.
