Domain Renew

I am trying to renew my domain atlastfinejewelry.com. I originally purchased the domain through wordpress.com. Now that I have to renew, I don’t see an option to do that on my account manager. All I see is that I paid for domain mapping renewal. It says my domain is registered through wild west domains, but I purchased the domain through wordpress.com. What do I do? I have no idea who wild west domain is.

It looks like your domain is not registered with WordPress.com, but is instead registered with another registrar and mapped to your WordPress.com site:

According to WHOIS information, your domain is registered with Wild West Domains:
https://who.is/whois/atlastfinejewelry.com
However, WWD frequently is the registrar for various domain sellers who may operate under different business names. Can you check your records again and see if you have any email or other notes that could jog your memory as far as where you originally registered the domain?

I purchased the domain through wordpress.com and apparently they use wild west domains for their registrar. I have never talked to wild west domains until now and they told me to talk to wordpress.com because that is where i purchased the domain

The domain is with Wild West Domains, whom we do use as a reseller, but we are not their only reseller.
According to our records, the domain has never been registered with us, but per https://www.secureserver.net/whois?pl_id=1387&checkAvail=1&tmskey=&domain=atlastfinejewelry.com it lists the reseller as “Domain Names by Aim High Tech.”
Does that name sound familiar to you?
You might also want to check your credit card statements for the merchant you purchased the domain from.
According that same record, the domain was created on November 4, 2014. If your credit card statements don’t do back that far, you might also look for renewal payments on or around November 4 or October 4 the following years.

I originally registered the domain through wordpress.com. I didn’t know who wild west domain was until recently and I called them and they told me I had to talk to WordPress because that is where I purchased the domain from originally.

Unfortunately I can’t go back that far but when I called Wild West domains they told me they couldn’t do anything and I had to call wordpress.com :( I’m not sure what to do

The renewals will be for plan and mapping. As you registered the domain three weeks before you created this WordPress.com account and associated site and as the domain was mapped to that WordPress.com site logic dictates that the domain was purchased somewhere other than here at WordPress.com.

You mapped the domain with us at WordPress.com, so the site was hosted with us at WordPress.com, but the domain has never been registered with us.

As the domain was never registered with us, that’s pretty much the most we can do to help you with this.
