  has the $48 starter annual plan include the renewal fee for my domain I register on WordPress?

  Hi there!

  When you purchase any annual WordPress.com plan to receive a free domain credit, you can use it for one of the following options:

  • Register a new domain for free for the first year. After the first year, the domain renews at the standard price.
  • Transfer an existing domain from another provider, which will add one additional year to the domain’s registration period. When the domain is up for renewal, the renewal will be at the standard price.

  This credit is only available to new plans on an annual payment schedule. Monthly plans do not come with a free domain credit.
