It looks like your other payment option is to use Paypal since WordPress.com doesn’t accept checks, cash, or money orders.Visit your My Upgrades page and click the gear icon next to the domain you wish to renew: https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades/
I think that will give you an option for using Paypal, but I’m not sure since I haven’t been through that process myself and couldn’t locate more specific information about it.
