domain renewal

  I signed up for a free trial to the premium subscription last week. I noticed that my custom domain says it renews today (Oct. 31st). Will it renew automatically? Do I have to pay for the premium subscription now so that the domain name will renew? I don’t remember if I selected auto-renew. I don’t want to lose my custom domain name.

  Hi there,

  If you’ve signed up for the trial, at the end of the two weeks, you’ll be charged in full, and your domain will be maintained.

  If you’d prefer not to keep the Premium upgrade, but would like to keep your domain registration, I can send you a manual payment link. Then you can pay for the domain alone, and the rest of the Premium trial will simply expire at the end of your two weeks.

  Hi,
  I want to keep the premium upgrade. Just to confirm I won’t lose the domain? I think the free trial ends at the end of next week. If I need to pay sooner, let me know so I don’t lose the domain.

  You won’t lose the domain! :)

  It appears as if your trial for rdttest.wordpress.com actually ends on November 7, 2014. At that time, your card will automatically be charged and your Premium upgrade will be “live.”

  Your domain is safe!
