  Hi,

  I just renewed my domain name through wordpress.com for a year.
  Though, I am about to migrate to wordpress.org for more flexibility on my blog.

  When the date expires, how can I be sure that my domain name is renewed? Shall I transfer to my web host before?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you no longer plan on using your custom domain with a WordPress.com site, we recommend transferring it to your new host, if possible.
