domain renewal

  I am trying to renew my domain but cannot view the domain name (https://wordpress.com/my-domains/) and when I click on update primary domain, nothing is happening…

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account and associated email address that registered the blog and purchased the upgrade for it, to access the blog’s dashboard and navigate to > Store > My Upgrades and renew any upgrades.

  Hi @begeltherapy,

  As Timethief mentioned, the domain renewal will only be available to the current owner of the upgrade. The domain medicinejam.com is not owned by the account you’re currently writing from. Do you have access to any other accounts on your site?

  I’m sorry. I have no idea how to navigate this without talking to someone in person who can walk me through it. I’ve had this blog for 5 years. It was set up by the Institute for Family Health. IUFH. I don’t know what to do. I feel terrible that this blog that I’ve had for all these years may go down the drain because I can’t figure out out to renew.

  Is there no way to speak to someone in person? I use my blog to teach family physicians and now no one can access it because it’s expired. I’ve spent hours trying to figure it out but to no avail. Isn’t there any person-to-person customer support?

  Hi Amy!

  I’m happy to walk you through this. However, the underlying issue is that the upgrade is currently owned by another user account (another login) than the one you’re currently writing from (begeltherapy). Do you remember setting up another user account on medicinejam.wordpress.com?

  I also sent renewal instructions to the email address listed for the current owner of the domain upgrade. That user should have an email in their inbox from help@wordpress.com.
